The Senate Standing Committee on Power met on Thursday at the historic Old PIPS Hall at Parliament Lodges, presided over by Senator Saifullah Abro. During the meeting, the committee expressed profound gratitude to the Power Division for its prompt and effective actions to address line losses and electricity theft in various Distribution Companies (DISCOs). This coordinated effort has resulted in the recovery of Rs. 1 Billion.
The Additional Secretary of the Power Division, Mr. Arshad Majid, delivered this remarkable news to the committee.
